If this is the hassle before I get there, I can't imagine how bad it would have been if I'd gone with them.
The woman I spoke with didn't seem to understand what I was telling her. I told her that I would be happy to forward my confirmation email to her to show that my reservation was actually on Friday and Saturday nights. Then she tells me that if I made my reservation online I would need to call the 1-800# to change it.
Place. Was awful. Deplorable, staff are lazy rarely have coffee. And rooms are nasty, would not reconend.
When I called the 1-800# they were very understanding of the situation and offered to move me to a different hotel, but at that point I felt like it was too much. I cancelled my reservation and booked with another company.
Horrible bed, bad stench, bugs on the walls, but it was only $60. I left early and they refused to refund unused days. Pay a little more and go up the street
I call to confirm my reservation for this coming weekend. I'm going to be in town on Friday through Sunday and wanted to add a child to my reservation. Upon attempting to to this I discovered that they had my reservation down starting on Saturday. Which means I would have to pay additional for last minute hotel stay.
Then I became worried that they might charge me for not cancelling, since they seem to have issues with the online to in office communications. So I called to make sure my reservation was cancelled. They didn't understand what I wanted when I asked for confirmation that my reservation had indeed been cancelled on their end.
For 60 a night it's not the best but it's 60 dollars and yes some updates are needed
My friend and I have used this hotel for several years for the Steampunk Festival in September. It's got a great price. Never had a bad experience. Rooms are clean. No stains that I've ever seen. And the AC had always worked perfectly. The staff have always been very helpful and courteous. Definitely plan to continue using their services.
