This is a free museum on the history of Hannibal. It offers a lot of information on the history of Hannibal and some of it's famous locals - including the Unsinkable Molly Brown, amongst others.
It also has a printing press and many fonts the printing press used. In the back they have a little theater that is constantly showing a version of the Adventures of Tom Sawyer - and they have a whole room full of scenes of Tom and Huck.
It's smaller. It's cooler. It's got the hippest gifts.
Free will donation museum that will tell you more about the actual history of Hannibal than all the other museums combined. Mark Twain transformed Hannibal, but Hannibal formed Mark Twain.
The lady that was working there, was friendly. It is worth a visit.
