Great set up with the interpretive center and boyhood home. Very explanatory and gave you a feel for Mark twain and the Era. Drug store was closed for renovation and less impressed with Becky Thatchers house. Becky's house felt like it had been completely rebuilt with no original character. Still, we enjoyed our visit and would come again
A beautiful views from the lighthouse and from the pier. The downtown is very nice!
Extremely interesting. A real learning experience. Can go along at your own pace.
Note: I only saw the museum; not the boyhood home. The museum is fairly small. One can see everything in about an hour. Lower floor has great "interactive" displays. Upper floor has rare Normal Rockwell originals as well as other memorabilia about Mark Twain. Price is right.
Our impressions are great. There are several small museums. Very comfortable, very interesting, very informative. The parking is free for visitors.
We had fun. It's a self guided tour that's easy to get threw. Small town with enough sights for a fun family weekend. People are all so nice.
