Good food at reasonable prices. Great setting in historic downtown Hannibal. I highly recommend the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. It's huge!
We ate here on a trip to Hannibal because of its location and decor. What a mistake. First off, it was a 90+ degree day and they didn't have the air on. The entire restaurant was stuffy and humid. The salad bar was a complete joke. What little iceberg lettuce they had was turning brown. I ordered the prime rib, but what I got was some sort of gray slab of meat. All the sides came out of a bag from the freezer. All the meals looked like they were cooked in the microwave. Our server was friendly enough but not very attentive considering how empty the place was.
I'm not easily offended, but when the owner is in the kitchen cussing like a sailor, slamming microwave doors and openly embarrassing his hired help. Enough is enough!!! Our group had a variety of entrees and all appeared to be nothing more than prepped food, heated up in a microwave. Many better options around Hannibal to support. I won't be back!!!
